I've always liked grandiose and outrageous descriptions, they have this tendency to paint a picture where there wasn't one. The Gnostic interpretation of The End is no different, and for the corporeal calamity it describes, the event is named using very positive language: "The Resolution", "The Fulfilment", "The Restoration". Where here, the Achamoth is redeemed and Sophia has earned her right to reclaim all she lost. On the micro, this is each of us - with no shortage of lower instincts to master to redeem the Achamoth within, laying waste to norms and tendencies that have never served us. I offer this painting in homage of such an endeavor, in hopes that you too might rain righteous hellfire down on a malformed creation of your own doing.
